COGNITIVE RESTRUCTURING:

• Developed for those individuals that are severe or chronic offenders. The program is based on the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model. The format includes the identification of thinking errors, values clarification, and anger management techniques. The primary goal of the program is the elimination of criminal thinking and behaviors, which promotes living a lifestyle free of criminal behavior and legal involvement.

Family Connection Program:

• ACES has a comprehensive array of family services. Evaluations for the effects of violence on children are available. Clients, upon completion of all or some of the above programs, can be seen in conjoint couples counseling. Clients can also be referred through their insurance or EAP for individual or couples counseling for their own personal growth. Parenting classes are offered at a nominal fee. Children's and family therapies are also available.
